This is a really interesting article by someone I have a lot of respect for in the Network Marketing world, Jacky Sherman.
Her post includes a video clip from the author of a new book and it’s well worth taking 5 minutes out of your day to read & watch.  It reminded me of a brilliant book I read and thoroughly recommend called ‘The Go-Giver’ by Bob Burg and John David Mann.  It’s only a 2 hour read but it made a huge impact on me and the way I work.
Back in the day, I was one of the archetypal Go Getters, who viewed collateral damage as one of those unfortunate but sometimes necessary consequences of me getting where I wanted to go.  Now, I realise the world works in a much more subtle way and for anything of lasting worth to be achieved, it requires a rather different approach.  Giving without looking to receive is the key to longer term success and I urge you to read Jacky’s article by clicking here and also consider downloading The Go-Giver, as a great reference guide.
