Getting the most out of your sales staff. I was asked recently to pen an article for the Chamber of Commerce magazine, focusing on how to get the most out of sales staff. Since it was published, the number of hits on my website and Facebook page have gone up significantly. It served as a timely reminder to me of the value that printed media can still have in this digital era. Now there are fewer hard copy documents being stuffed through the post onto people’s desks, it can sometimes be a great way of attracting their attention. Worth a few moments of your time to consider the potential for your business.
Anyway, that wasn’t the key point of this message. It was to give you a link to the article and if you have any sales people in your organisation, it could be a useful piece for you to review. After all, they are an expensive commodity and one that can make a massively positive difference to your bottom line, if managed correctly and sadly, a massively negative one if not.
